4Does what it's supposed to

This isn't the best product I've ever used, but it does a pretty good job. The transmitter is simple to connect and use, you just plug the wall adaptor and your mp3 or cd player in. The speaker unit takes 6 AA batteries, then you turn it on, push "auto tune" and it tunes in to the transmitter. It has a cool hook at the top, which you're supposed to put over your showerhead, but that didn't work well for me. I ended up just putting it in my shampoo holder thing, which put it more at head level.

If you turn up your player, the speaker can actually get quite loud - however, showers make a lot of noise, and to hear the music perfectly it has to be at a volume that hurts my ears a little. The sound quality is pretty good, you can hear all the parts of your music pretty well. The bass is probably the weakest link - you can hear it all right but it sounds a little strange. However, I don't need pro audio in the shower, so I'm happy with the sound quality.

The biggest problem I've found with the iSplash is that when water gets into one of the speakers, the sound quality sharply decreases. To fix this, I discovered you can just blow the water out and it sounds better again. The only time this happens to me is when I'm moving it or the showerhead around and some water hits the top and runs down into the speaker. It doesn't seem to happen from spray or anything. A feature it does not have is the ability to change songs while listening. However, good luck finding a way to listen to mp3s in the shower and change songs. If you want to listen to cds, I definitely reccomend getting a regular shower cd player.

Basically, the iSplash does a good job being a shower player and that's it. It's cool that it's wireless, but I have an mp3 player and headphones for portable music, so mine stays in the shower.
